End of Life Doula

compassionate care for death & dying

Dying isn't a medical event. It's a human one.

No one should die alone or have loved ones feel confused or scared at the end of life. Doulas provide compassionate care and open-hearted presence to both their clients and their loved ones. While they can't take away their pain or suffering of diagnosis or impending loss, doulas help soften the burden and provide a safe environment to ask questions, talk about next steps, and help think about the legacy their clients would like to leave behind. End of life doulas support clients in their efforts to have a "good death."

No matter where you are in the dying process, you will be met with kindness, empathy, respect and professionalism.

My end of life doula services are customized for each client to meet them where they are and what best supports their individual needs. Death doula services can be provided in person, by phone, or via Zoom. I offer my services on a sliding scale.

How can I support you?

"Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into the places of pain, to share in brokenness, fear, confusion and anguish."

- Henri Nouwen
